# 678 "Wild 100" at the National Museum of Wildlife Art


Note: We are now posting once a week on Monday.

Trish and I just returned from the opening of "Wild 100" art show and sale at the National Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson, Wyoming.  I exhibited two new sculptures in the show:  Shown below is "Tom" (Wild Turkey) and "M'Bogo" . . .  which is the Swahili word for African Buffalo.  I also exhibited one etching - "Bull Moose".

We drove over Togwotee Pass in a snowstorm last Thursday and returned with beautiful, clear fall weather.
Mid-September is always glorious in the Tetons and Jackson Hole.

Below, a group gathered at the museum to celebrate Jane Smith: Jane and Red were great friends of Carl Rungius and Jane was a patron of the museum.  We all toasted their incredible lives with Jane, Red, and Carl's favorite drink . . . a Manhattan!  Pictured are Sue Simpson Gallagher and Bill Kerr;  Veerla and Kent Ullberg with Joffa Kerr;  and yours truly.






A highlight of the weekend was spending time with Debbie Petersen . . .  the delightful and art impassioned
chairman of the National Museum of Wildlife Board of Trustees.
