#322 Living with Art: "Remembering Mac"

Seven years ago,  our beloved Scottie, Mac, died at the early age of 7 in an accident.  It happened on a beautiful Wyoming fall day and I always think of him this time of year.  I modeled this portrait of him from memory as an urn for his ashes in the days following the tragic event . . . It's entitled Remembering Mac.

At right, a portrait of Mac by Julie Jeppsen hangs above
Remembering Mac.

  1. A favorite of mine. One can only appreciate the beauty of wildlife, while a dog shares his innermost being. Here I can experience Mac as seen through the eyes and felt by the hands of one who loved him so.
